"Know Your Own - Free Lexington" series
The basic scoop:
The "KYO - Free Lexington" series was conceived as a way of sharing information - namely the where-when-how peeps can find out about all ages happenings in Lexington. When you’re out of the loop, Lex can seem uninviting to peeps under 21. But, if you know where to look, you'll find tons of all ages shows/parties/etc of all different types. Anyway ... the idea was to do a mini-tour of some of the spots where you can find all ages shows around UK's campus and downtown (places like Mecca, The Icehouse, CD Central, and Third Street Stuff Coffee) and to involve as co-sponsors the best information outlets for all ages events (our zine, W Weekly, WRFL). All the shows are FREE. So, don't be shy - come out and get hip to the scene.
